EuroCloud Europe Award 2013: Nominations have been announced

Luxembourg, 24.09.2013 – Around 50 winners of the national EuroCloud Awards from 12 countries presented themselves to the European jury, in order to be selected as the best cloud company in Europe. The jury has now chosen the best of the best and has announced the nominees for the EuroCloud Europe Award 2013. The winners will be announced on the evening of the 15th October, as part of the EuroCloud Congress in Kirchberg/Luxembourg. The Congress, on the 15th and 16th October, will play host to cloud-business decision-makers and representatives from 20 European countries and from around the world, who will be informing themselves and exchanging ideas on the newest cloud developments (www.eurocloudcongress.org).

Like last year, companies from 12 countries, including France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal, have taken the opportunity to have their cloud solutions judged in a European comparison, and to become internationally known. Every participating country was able to include a representative on the jury, which resulted in a high-class array, with the jury including university professors, government representatives, journalists and financial auditors. “Renowned cloud specialists selected the best cloud solutions, and were impressed by the high quality of the services which were submitted”, said Bernd Becker, President of EuroCloud Europe. He continued: “The impressive performance and quality standards of cloud service providers from all over Europe were showcased here – as only the winners from the participating countries could apply for this award.”
